I didn't answer because I don't think these are your only options. If you have to have em special-ordered, you should be used to the concept of tailoring. I'd either have them let out a little or I'd move the button an inch.

Your hips spread during pregnancy and delivery so more tghan likely you are not going to fit them again.. and I'm not sure of ur inseam but New York and Company sell tall slacks and they are really long!

Your hips are wide due to child birth.
I lost more than my prepregnancy weight after I had my son and was not able to fit in my pants due to wide hips

I would get rid of them. Your hips are wider now due to being pregnant. MY hips were wide before pregnancy and they are even wider now, even when I got to my pre-pregnancy weight, my pant size was a little off.

It may be your hips are bigger than they were and you may never fit into your other pants again but... why not keep them for a year? Are you short on space? If you have room, I'd keep them because if you DO get back down to that size you'll be awfully bummed if you have to buy the same size pants again! :)
