Preparing for baby

When did you start nesting? I feel like I'm starting to and I hear when you do the baby is coming really soon. Also, when did you start packing your hospital bag? I'm almost 36 weeks and I'm not sure if I should start that or not?

I don't think I really "nested", in the way that it's an uncontrollable thing. I've heard of women wiping down the tops of their refrigerators and no, I never did crazy stuff like that. My mom woke up at 3am with an intense urge to do laundry, and was in labor (with me) within a few hours.

I packed most of my bag around 38wks, put the finishing touches on it while in labor at 41w1d.

1st time I don't think I nested at all, with my 2nd it was around 34 weeks. And now Im pregnant with my 3rd @18 weeks and feel like Im already nesting, LOL!
And I had my bag ready from 34 weeks on, just in case.

I never nested so can't help you there. As far as the hospital bag I kept putting if off cause I still had time. My son was born 5 weeks early :) Its not going to hurt anything to be ready.

I was nesting like crazy by 20 weeks! I cleaned the whole house top to bottom, finished her nursery, bought all of her clothes, accessories, diapers, etc and tackled my major to do list.

I am 33 weeks now and working on my labor and delivery bag. I am a Virgo and also a perfectionist, so that explains a lot.

I started nesting early at 19 weeks. The closets are constantly being cleaned out.
