Stress and spotting?

Hey there ladies, I know stress is bad for you when you're pregnant but can it lead to spotting? I checked the tab under spotting and it seemed mostly for the first few weeks, or after sex, neither of which fit my situation ( Read more... )

While I'm sure stress isn't helpful, you should probably call your doc. Hope everything's ok! *hug*

I had the same problem last week after a stressful day at work. My OB said it was fine as long as there was only a little blood, it was brown after the first few hours and it was a sign I was overdoing things. I do have orders to come and and get checked if I feel strong cramping or see a gush of blood or fluid.

Call your OB/midwife and just check in...

spotting at this point in your pregnancy *always* justifies calling your doctor or midwife - particularly if this is a change for you. It's often nothing more than some irritation on your cervix, but frankly, there's no way to tell without your doctor getting a look at you.

You should give your doctor a call.

TMI, strenuous pooping would cause me to spot.
