I'm a newly pregnant person...6 weeks today. I'm already super achey all over, tired, and now having insomnia! I'm shocked at how miserable I feel already and I'm sure this is only the tip of the iceberg. Please tell me it gets better. I mean really, insomnia at 6 weeks? I feel like I need to quit my job now so I can get rest whenever possible ( Read more... )

i didn't get insomnia until the later part of my third trimester (like 2-3weeks before i was due). it sucked ass because i'd go to sleep and be wide awake at like 1AM and could never fall back asleep. i guess my body was trying to get me ready for when ethan came, but it didn't help much haha.

i had 'all day sickness' well into my second trimester :( if i had to choose, i'd pick insomnia LOL

but things do eventually get better. <3

and congrats and welcome :P

I felt like you around that time, too. Luckily hun, it DOES get better. The first trimester is the worst, in my opinion (I'm halfway through my 2nd and feel GREAT). I found that curling up in a really soft blanket and a body pillow after a hot bath really helped me to get into a deep sleep. IMHO, though, the morning sickness is waaay worse than any other 1st trimester symptom! Hope it stays away from you :)

Congrats! Welcome!

I had difficulty sleeping in the beginning, but by 15 weeks I was okay. I didn't get morning sickness until about 10 weeks.

I had trouble sleeping and lots of tiredness and nausea from 5 weeks + but by week 9 the sickness got a ton better and a week or so later I started sleeping the night through. I'd love to tell you that I'm no longer tired too but I'm not (I'm almost at week 12)!

I hope you start feeling better sooner rather than later. At the beginning it feels like it's never going to end, but it does!

LOL! I am still having the waking up at strange hours thing. Mostly in the mornings though. I'll wake up early and be unable to go back to sleep. I always used to have trouble falling asleep, now it is staying asleep. : )
