one of the people on my FL actually just posted about finding a way to sleep with her hands elevated above her shoulders (like how you are recommended to prop up your feet for swelling) and said it made a huge difference. awkward, but made it to where she could sleep

Just recently I have been having a lot of pain too, Sunday it was so bad I actually ended up calling my midwife and asking what I could do. Like the above poster said, she mentioned sleeping with my hands elevated. She also suggested trying stinging nettle tea. I just got some nettle tea leaves today so I can't say if it has worked yet! I've also been icing my wrists and it helps a little.
Good luck, it's no fun at all!

My wrists and hands have been killing me, too. I searched online and found:

It has a few simple exercises you can do during the day. It REALLY helped with the pain. I do them about 4 times a day as well as a Tylenol before bed. Good luck!

I wore carpal tunnel braces on both wrists and that *kinda* helped. Sleeping with my arms elevated helped a bit as well, as other posters have commented.

It was by far the worst part of pregnancy for me, and that is saying something! You have my sympathies!

I was having this pain. It was so bad at night it would wake me up and ache like I've never felt before! I went to CVS and bought one of those wrist braces for carpal tunnel, wore it to bed, and put my hand out on its own pillow level with my shoulder when I went to sleep. It worked and after a few weeks I didn't have the problem anymore. Sometimes I wake up and my hand is numb but it doesn't hurt anymore.
