Last time I had pitocin and had to labor in the bed and it wasn't fun. Add on the fact that her heart rate kept dropping and I was being yelled at to push to get her out as soon as possible.

I'm 6 months and I just started seeing a chiropractor. My hips are a bit twisted so I'm assuming my daughter got stuck in the canal and I'm hoping that getting straightened out makes this birth go a lot better.

my back and hips hurt a lot too, some days worse than others, but at this stage I guess that is normal. Things are loosening up to make room for babe and make the canal to come out wider. Puts a strain on the joints and all that. I am due mid April (12th) and I seriously can't wait. The old wive's tale is that heartburn means a full head of hair on a babe. As this is my first I have no verdict, but let's wait and see huh?

It might just be TRUE.
My daughter gave me really bad heartburn, and she was as hairy as a monkey when she was born :)

It wouldn't surprise me if my son came out with as much hair as his sister.

I hated that! That they tell you to push, when you ARE pushing.
The Nurse literally said to me "We're doing our job, now you have to do yours".

I was like "Lady, I know I'm pushing".
Turns out my daughter had a big head and her foot was wrapped up in the ambilical cord. They had to use one of those vacume head sucker things :).

I don't think I'd ever want to do a spine block again.
Too much fuss for something that didn't really help me out much last time.

I had heartburn so bad.. All I did was drink milk to ease the symptoms. My daughter barely had hair! I was almost mad at my grandmother for telling me otherwise!

On another note, stop mothering your husband! You have a 2 yo & your pregnant! Let him take care of you :) If you're a control freak like me, it's really hard but it something you have to do. For you & your new baby!

Hope you feel better :)

The pelvic popping could be SPD http://www.plus-size-pregnancy.org/pubicpain.htm and yes, it is miserable :(

Have you asked your Dr. about something for the heartburn? My OB put me on protonix for heartburn/reflux and it is AMAZING the difference I feel.

This pregnancy really has been good to me. I'm 28 weeks, and the one thing that bothers me the most is the amount of Braxton Hicks contractions I get, because they make me sore. Sometimes my lower back aches, but usually it's not too bad unless I've been super busy. My lower back also pops a lot.
For labor, we have midwives at the hospital, and are planning on going all natural. I'm feeling a bit unprepared though, as all the birthing classes are on days when hubby can't go, and we live no where by family! lol. So I just went out and bought Birthing from Within for some guidance.
Oh, I do also get heartburn once in awhile, and usually good ol' Tums smoothies works for me.
