I have a big spider veins covering my ankle that looks like bruising - from an old injury - like a bruise that never heals, and that's apparently spider veins. The bruise-look has spread and got a lot more noticeable with pregnancy, and the area still gets a bit swollen and feels bruised all the time. I think I hit my leg about 7 years ago.

I have a few smaller clusters that have appeared or got worse with pregnancy too. They pretty obviously look like capillaries except from a distance. I'm secretly hoping they might not look so bad when I've had the baby - and wish some of the supposedly miracle vein-away treatments were safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I'm just trying to ignore them and my vanity in the meantime.

Think positively, maybe it is a bruise that's taking a long time to disappear. Anaemia can do that.

Thank you everyone for your answers!! :) Thankfully I only have the one so far. I bought Futuro support hose and my legs aren't achy at work anymore, so maybe this will help!
