Just a warning: If stories of induction or ones that involve AROM, epidurals, and pitocin bother you, then feel free to skip this.

For the rest of you, this got really really long. )

augmentation of labor, amniotomy (arom), newborn photos, pitocin, perineal/vaginal tears, epidural anesthesia, induction, false labor, birth stories- vaginal with intervention

That was a really good story, very easy to read! I'm glad you did so well with the pain giving that your epidural didn't work right. I am worried about this!

Your son is absolutely adorable. Look at that hair!!! Congratulations to you all :)

Congrats! He's gorgeous!

And my epidural did the same thing: the only things I couldn't feel were my stomach and my left leg. My midwife realize it until she started giving me stitches and I yelped!

Also, my little girl was 10 days late. They induced me as well. I got in the hospital Thursday night at 6pm. They started the pit. She was born at 5:22pm on Friday! I almost had to have a c-section because I wasn't dilating at all. So I completely understand what you went through!!
