How to find natural care pediatrician?

I tried looking back through the tags but couldn't find anything quickly. I'm considering delaying vaccinations and would like to find a family doctor in the Bay area that will work with me on that. I have no idea how to go about doing that. I usually just randomly pick a doctor from the insurance list but I'd like to be a little more picky ( Read more... )

i also agree with asking on MDC. but it's mostly a process of finding who works best for your needs through interviews :)

Interviews are good! PLus, if you have a primary doctor, what kind of doctor is he/she? I always get more on the natural side of doctors and so when I need a doctor referral, the refer me to a more natural type of doctor. :)

A lot of doctors' offices have websites with a bio for each physician. I found our FP by looking at doctor sites covered by my insurance and picked a great one right off. Doctors are aware that some patients shop this way and sometimes put things in to attract certain types of patients. It's possible you may see things in the bios like alternative treatments and evidence-based care that could clue you in.
