I so very disapprove of Bangalore being renamed as "Bengaluru"!
And bull crap the 'u' vowel distinguishes our language as per the great Jnanpith Award winner, Mr.You-Are-A-Jobless-Freaku-Ananthmurthy!

Drum Singh must have struck upon the Idea of calling it Bengalooru becoz the name Bangalore sounds like the name of a city with a good infrastructure. Bengalooru sounds like the name of a remote village, the new name suits the present infrastructure and road conditions well.

The west had coined a word 'Bangalored', which meant, losing a job to somebody in bangalore, the job being outsourced to Bangalore. The word will now have to be re-included as 'Bengaloorued' !!!

Mr. Jai Kannadambe, Do you know what an electrical switch is called in Kannada? Vidyut Aagamana nigamana yantra, are you going to change the name of all switches installed in Bangalore.
