Hem.. The fun thing about math and science, numbers and equations is you can happen upon the science or the numbers you can take the measurements and record the "facts" but you will still never know WHY the numbers work WHY the things are set up the way they are and WHY you have the ability to even find the equations and to, in a sense, "understand" their implications.
So it's still magic.
I don't understand how someone could see love, rainbows and birds, and think that because you have found numbers or patterns associated with them that those things are somehow destroyed. They're the same magic, their pure existence is magic, who cares if someone else saw more in them or got more out of them? The thing is still the same.
