i thought the timeline separated when Hana cut her bangs, the other timeline kept on showing her with full bangs.

I would suggest that Hana cutting her hair is the first plot-significant difference between the timeline fork created by Criasu employees landing. We can have timelines split but still running on the same track, only to diverge slightly later.
