Did you go in to it already comparing it to the original? You have to remember that Tim Burton admittedly is not a fan of the first movie and that this particular movie is supposed to be more true to the book (which I haven't read). I thought it was cute.

I agree, I was disappointed.

UM, I want a fucking golden goose, but a stupid squirrel for one...
