Well, RL sucks more in the last week than it has in a very long time. *CRIES* I think I'm slowly working through the bullshit and trying not to get bogged down in the RP idiocy of late. All in all, I'm just tired of people who can't think or use common sense

I think the thing about common sense in RPing is everyone's using different brands. Nothing more frustrating than that. :)

I think we all forget at times that it's just a game. As in, 'for fun'. Still, it's very easy to get over-involved in our characters and fretful about getting what we think is best for them. I'd say they were like our babies but I refuse to think of them as such. :)

But yeah, I think a lot of the issues come from the over-involvement between player and character that the player to player interactions are horribly affected and vice versa.

Seriously, the past couple weeks seem like they've been horrid for a lot of people. I feel like things are taking a turn for the better now (finally!) so I hope they are for you, too.

*cuddles* Oh, good. I'm so behind on HF right now, I feel badly about holding up threads and all, and hope I'm not upsetting people, so it's nice to hear at least I'm not upsetting you! Seems I have missed whatever distressing events have happened again!

I saw your first LMoM entry, but haven't had a chance to read it yet... There are so many lovely fics on your journal right now -- I am hoping for a nice long stretch of time when I catch up and read them all!

btw, I meant to tell you, sometime middle of last week or the week before, I saw a PBS special about cephalopods! It made me think of you and smile. :-)
