Lumoooooos!

Hello my lovelies!

I'm sitting in my hotel room (well, really the suite I'm sharing with sethkyne_blue who is currently naked and wet or I'm sure she'd say hello to you too). Lumos has been lovely! I've met lots of fantastic and cracktastic people here, corrupted them with talk of bestiality (which I didn't have recorded), corsets, and peppermint toads ( Read more... )

I missed you completely at Lumos! Not surprising as there was about 1200 people. ;)

Hallo! moonyprof July 31 2006, 06:01:12 UTC
No snogging, I'm afraid, just represented Lupin on the same panel as you. I've got another livejournal but set up a new one just for Harry Potter type stuff. Do check it out, if you care to--I thought we got the beginnings of a really interesting conversation going and barely scratched the surface.

Cheers, Moonyprof

Oh we certainly did. I need to write up some of my thoughts about the panel. I really enjoyed it and the other participants. I hope Bekki will post some thoughts on Sprout since she was cut so short by time and all. I shall check everything out!

I would *love* to hear some more elaboration. I've been listening to the audio and thinking "ooh, good point," or "hey, here's another thing McGonagall does well." I certainly hadn't thought about the fact that Rowling sets us up to see McGonagall's softer side long before we meet her through Harry's eyes. You know, she's not only the first professor students physically meet (I suppose the first *person* they meet is Hagrid) but she's also the one who they first hear from, as she writes the acceptance letters. And yes, I would like to hear more from Bekki: I told Mom that she cut herself short for the time and Mom said approvingly that that was a *very* Hufflepuff thing to do. Which it was.

BTW, when I bought the audio CD, someone was asking after the "nox" presentation and was *very* disappointed that she couldn't buy it.

Cheers, Moonyprof

Hello - this is coming a bit late, but I lost where you wrote your name, and then found you here, so I'm friending you. I'm Kat - I was at the Taboo pannel, and can't think of anything else by way of an identifying feature. You'll either remember me or you won't, I suppose. That's rather said - anyway, hallo. Again.

Weeee! Friend away, Kat! I'm sooo glad that you came to the talk (and god, i typed that as "gland" instead of "glad" first. *headdesk*). Feel free to wander through and chat any time!

Or you know, write some necrobestiality. *winks*

HI!

We met at the poster sessions. My friend rebeccasama and I were there, we talked a little literature, a little paganism, a little perversity. And then you wrote something naughty in my yearbook. How could I stay away after all that? ;>

Oh yes! And did we only talk a little about perversity? Shocking. *snorts*

So are you going to drabble the naughty pairing I put in your yearbook? *prods with probity probe*

Anyway, hello and welcome!

Potentially. Considering that I've never written anything beyond academic papers, it would be a real feat. We shall see.

(Sorry for the lateness of my reply. I came home from Lumos in the middle of the night and was shoved straight back in to work. Meh.)
