Inspired by a post in ellen_fremedon's journal, I offered to run the Pre 1996 multifandom ficathon.

Introduce yourself in the comments and tell us about your favorite pre-1996 fandoms.

Howdy.
I'm Lew (aka Nightspore, aka Ghostgecko) and I don't like anything post-93 *grin*. Okay, not quite, but my mostly intensely loved fandoms, Re-ANIMATOR and BACK TO THE FUTURE, both debuted in '85. It was a good year for movies.

I'm Nikki, and I write slash fiction under a couple of names.

My pre-96 fandoms are: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (Napoleon/Illya) and The Professionals (Bodie/Doyle).

I'm Mistress Marilyn, and I have too many pre-96 fandoms to list them. Can't pick a favorite (although I just read a 'Top Gun' story that inspired me). I'm open to coming up with some fun and surprising fandoms.

(Started out with K/S. Really cut my teeth on Starsky/Hutch. But all those cop/agent pairings were great -- MUNCLE, Wild Wild West and the classic Dirty Harry/Johnny Davis novellas.)

At my website I include 'Magnum P.I.,' 'Legends of the Fall,' 'Dead Poets Society,' 'Lost Boys,' 'Beverly Hills 90210' and a little-known, short-lived fantasy show called 'Wizards and Warriors.'

Oh baby!

I'm a W&W fan. I saw all the eps. I am so totaly behind the Erik/Dirk pairing! (Duncan Reghar, swoon, in leather, double swoon)

I'm Joanne, and I have a few pre-1996 fandoms. Unless noted, all movies.

Star Trek: TNG & DS9 and apparently Voyager for S1 and possibly S2 if we're going up to 96.

Beauty & The Beast.

Rebel Without A Cause.

Eddie And The Cruisers (slashiest movie I've *ever* seen and hardly anyone's heard of it).

The Outsiders (book and movie)

Platoon.

Clear & Present Danger (movie rather than book *grins in Angel's direction*).

Trixie Belden (series of mysteries about a girl detective - book #2 has a first publication note of 1950).

There are probably others, but they're all I can think of right now.
