I think I'll refrain from telling my guesses and will patiently wait for the next chapter (wouldn't mind if you hurry up, though XD ) to find out exactly what happened to Taira. It's a little sad that the story's ending even if this means I won't be in pain much longer. I have Syd's story to look forward to.
Anyway, I really like the build up. It's like watching a horror film where the character is slowly opening the door to reveal what's inside and then you see their face seeing whatever is inside but you don't get to see it yet.
Eheheh... I might take a while. My mom is getting frustrated that I still haven't found a job yet so I have to spend more and more time hunting XD Actually the answers won't be 'til the last chapter, but that's only two chapters out now.
No worries. Take your time with the story. I've been reading Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott and I'm getting a better picture of writing. I still don't see myself being able to write creatively like that, I mean, I could do essays and stuff but not as far as coming up with my own characters and settings.
You should take a break first. Finishing school is a big deal and you should reward yourself with a bit of a break before plunging in to job hunting.
It would be awesome if you could, though. Characters come to me very easily, so I can't say a good way to build a roster for a story if they don't, but if you can think up just one person and see him come alive in your head-that's the beginning of a story, I think.
I did take a break for a few weeks. Now it's been a few months and my grace period on my loans is running out o.0
