DoA Thread on "Acid Jones."The long and short of it--there is an unscrupulous individual on Etsy (and apparently on Instagram too, possibly other sites) calling themselves by a plethora of pseudonyms, trying to get people to send them BJDs for a "video project", as well as several other angles

I saw a thread going around tumblr yesterday about one of their aliases, and then not 5 minutes later I got a message too.

If enough people report it etsy will disable their ability to message people and possibly even suspend their account.

What pisses me off about it is that yes, a lot of us are savvy and alert, but then there are people like Ringo in the hobby, who *are* trusting and think the best of most people, or would be keen to earn some doll money, and don't necessarily have someone watching out for them. :(

(And then there were people scoffing that anyone would be so naive as to fall for it. There are naive people out there!!)
