Im just so lazy to post sometimes :p But I make sure to read everyone's journal so I know what everyone else is up to! But no one knows what Im up to until I write a huge post like this :D
Random thought from one of your past entries: Did you know Puri Maharaj's wife was a pure devotee? He wrote a cute little book about it called, "Simple for the Simple". Though with all the stuff about him now, Im not sure how much of it is true. But still, its a good read.

You and your husband certainly have some very advanced thoughts regarding Krsna consciousness. I don't know if my comments help you any. But, just thought I would mention, when we are having trouble understanding the devotees that are physically present - we still have the Hare Krsna Maha-mantra, the Deity, and association of the paramahamsas through the sastra

If you don't mind me asking, what happened with Romapada Swami? He's our GBC here and while I respect him greatly, I find him a bit unapproachable, even a little scary. I'm sorry for saying that, I know I'm making offenses here, but I'm curious to know why your feelings towards him as a guru changed. Your deities are gorgeous. Lucky you, you know how to make Them outfits. I have to buy all my stuff and the quality is never good. I think Bhagavan came to 26 Second Ave. and Brooklyn a few years ago.
You arent the first person to think that he is scary. I know another devotee that thinks so too. He was never scary to me though, he kinda reminds me of a turtle

Your Deities are Beautiful!amanitvamNovember 24 2007, 16:11:56 UTC
I gave a brass Sad-Buja deity to Sri Devi. I don't know if she kept Him.
I had picked out deity pictures that I thought were really nice for this page I created. I don't know if you like the "flower outfit" idea, but I found it to be really nice.
Haribol. Sorry to respond so late but a thought just occurred to me. Could I commission you to make deity outfits for me? I couldn't find a single thing I liked in Mayapur for my Gaura Nitai deities. They're 8 inches tall but don't have much of a wardrobe. I don't know how to sew otherwise I'd try my hand at making Them outfits. Could you make Them some outfits if I paid you? I wouldn't expect you to do it for free, given how busy you are. I'd want to make it worth your while. What do you think? Your sewing work is so beautiful I thought I'd ask.

I think he was known as the Sun King.. I'm not really sure he ever presented himself as the Sun God.

It was nice meeting you at Govardhana Puja, even if it was somewhat short. I find it difficult to talk when S. is around me.
