IPL kickstarted with a gala opening. Useless debates raged on television on the semi-clad cheer leaders and the mixed teams. Was this the end of cricket? Who cares! I loved the format and concept and chose to support Deccan Chargers. Of course, once a Hyderabadi, always a Hyderabadi.

Hey, the lights off were the best excuse DC could have come up with to explain their first defeat. What next? Claim the famous "Videshi haath"??? in their next defeat? KnightRiders rock man!! and no two ways about it. :)
