So, its been a fortnight at work, and I got my paycheck. It feels nice to have money flowing in again. To feel more comfortable at work, I got my stack of CD's and the earphones to listen to my favourite songs
( Read more... )
btw, these are all fabulous "running" songs. SInce thats what I have been doing in excess of these days, they top my list. (and the first of indian songs!)
1. Swades - Ahista, Ahista: Great running song. Its slow, but calms the mindand lets me find my own steady pace. Love it! Sadly its not in the DVD of the movie.
2. Omkaara - Beedi: Another great running song; this one is fast. I have it come in at around mile 7 when I need a kick. It comes on again around mile 16, when I really need it!
3. Pandit Jasraj - Shiv Raksha Stotra: I am the devotee asking Shiva to protect the different parts of my body - as I run! particularly to protecting the knees, thighs and ankles!
... and listening to these and many more, I hope to dash across the finish line on the 16th! do you want these three? btw, Beedi is from iTUNEs and has stupid authorization stuff on it.
I have a huge list of favorite songs as well. Here are three I can think of.. a. Believe - Josh Groban (Makes me so nostalgic) b. Only an Ocean Away - Sarah Brightman (the ultimate love song for me) c. Life for Rent - Dido (amazing lyrics, and what a voice)
Absolutely. Almost like something came true only coz you thought / didn't think about it. but over time i've learnt to convert the "what if's" to "so what's?".. but it does prepare me to some extent.
