Now that I am back at the slave factory, I can look forward to the weekends again. It was tough trying to adjust sitting at one place for the first couple of days. And I have already spent 10 days at work. Time flies. I am still enjoying the *no work* period, getting used to trainings and being a part of huddles and meetings. Sometimes it is ( Read more... )

Return of the friday five :-) !

1. Are you happy with your current career? If you had a choice, which alternate career would you like to be in?

Very - never been happier at work. Alternate careers - is there any end to that? Many :-)

2. Which of these would you prefer - A fun job that does not give you the monies you would like, or a boring job that earns you more moolah?

I already chose, and am doing the fun job.

3. Do you have autographs by famous people?

Well, if i become famous one day .... :-p

4. Flashback to a year ago. Are things better or worse than today?

Better, because then i was about to start on a promising project, but now it's living up to the promise and the next phase should be even better.

5. Do you make wishes when you see a falling star, while blowing out the candles on the birthday cake or a fallen eyelash?

Neither, rather be in a shack in goa drinking beer.

Yes! Staying at home reading books and watching movies suits me very well! As for an alternate career, I think I'd like to be a decorator, or an illustrator, or in the academia, something like that.

The boring job with the money.

It could always be better! There are numerous alternate careers I can think of a) run my own home decor store or b) Be a Tour Guide

I haven't met him but spoken to him during the promotion of his first film, The Sixth Sense. I was working with Buena Vista in India and was part of the promotional team.

i'm not sad, if that means anything. and i dont have these urges to kill the publisher, which is a good thing. so, its fine. Alt career - a beautician, maybe. and i'd love to have my own florist shop.

i've had the money'd job, and now i have the fun one. i'll settle for the flexi-fun one anyday :)

Soon. I promise. I need that conversation marathon while gulping some chilled beer! I need that badly. The flip side of getting back towork is that it does not allow you to do things you got comfortable with when you were jobless.

BTW, do you think I will look *uncool* if I get that bag we picked at Colaba causeway to work?
