In terms of a film that displays exceptional literary merit, I would have to say that the entire star wars series would be ideal. The story has an intricate plot, an omnipresent theme of good versus evil, and dozens of literary devices. The series, created by George Lucas, is also riddled with archetypal themes and symbols; there is the Hero, Luke
