I've downloaded Swype beta, so while it may be expected to crash at any time, I don't think it'll stop working after sometime, like trialware.
It's pretty good and I for one would not mind purchasing it, as long as it does not cost a bomb.

The auto complete thing is really a double edged sword: when I type out all the letters,I don't even need to crosscheck, but it's tiresome. Smart completion programs like Swype need to be carefully watched, for the first few days as you would be getting used to the system and hence would be most likely to make mistakes. However, word prediction can lead to some pretty bizarre gaffes if one is not careful, seasoned user or not! It would be pretty embarrassing if one were to end up typing 'immoral' where 'immortal' was meant or 'pubic' where 'public' was intended!!
