A LOMAC story

LockOn: Modern Air Combat,  fondly referred to by its fans as LOMAC.

Thanks for the post. It sure looks amazing and I would have loved to try it but I wasn't good in racing in 2D space. Flying in 3D seems more tough :)

The learning curve in this game is rather high, but once you get a hang of it, you'll really love it.
When I started out, I could barely last, even when pitted against opponents who are not expected to even put up a fight against the Su-27! What I like about the game is that it allows you to create your own missions. Rather than trying in vain to come to terms with a difficult mission which becomes trivial, but after a looooong time, one can build simple scenarios, get the techniques right and keep moving up. Also, there is no such thing, technically, as the game getting over as you can keep making new missions. There are missions created by other game lovers available for download on the internet too!
