HBP Trailerrrr!!!

Just saw the new HBP trailer. It was GREAT! Eat your heart out, Twilight! ;-)

Things I LOVED:
-SNAPE is made of awesome!
-Draco - loving how he's grown from a rather annoying little brat to this dark, tortured young man.
-Ginny's "Take my hand" <3
-the visuals, oh dear, the visuals. Stunning.
-pretty much 99.9 % of the trailer.

Oh yes, the Katie Bell scene is scary! And Snape, ah Snape. :-) But I fear they've underused him again, even though this is the "Harry Potter and Severus Snape" film. ;-)

I agree 100% with you on this issue, Praize, but then I think it also applies to Book Hermione launching magical birds on Ron that rip and peck his skin.

Absolutely. And the same goes for Hermione's violent attack on Ron in DH; I've always criticised this aspect of JKR's writing. I'm afraid this sort of funnifying and/or justifying ("he was a jerk and deserved it!") female violence is rather common in our society and it worries me because I see it seeping into real life. Girls are starting to be so filled with "girl power" nowadays that if you reproach them for hitting a guy, they are completely clueless why you're reproaching them. After all, female violence is largely accepted and funnified in tv-shows, movies, and yes, in books, too.

I'm so waiting for someone influential to bring this issue to public discussion!

It was indeed the best trailer so far. It's just a pet peeve of mine how WB treats Ron in the movies and how they've created Emmione, a beautiful, dashing superwitch who in reality yearns after Harry. ;-)
