I love--ooh, I love the whole thing! I'm so happy you found some interest in this again. I love the surreality of the dream, and Julian's not-quite-formality, fitting with the setting she's conjured, and her discontent. And the subtle viscerality of her reactions and the way she relates them to music--Julian's music. (I really like that, for some reason, there's a beauty to those hinted details.)
