I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON. But the scene presented is sweet in a way, what with remembrances and mascara!for the dead and what now Obi-wan was in love with someone? Dude, did not know that.

I really need to read the books for Star Wars so I know what you are writing about, since I seem to be unable to acquire the films to watch on my own time. Any recommendations on what to start with?

Hahaha -- OMG. The EU is long, convoluted and bizarre. Also, retconned like whoa after every new movie comes out. But I shall attempt to do recs (though probably in a separate post? Is that all right?). This particular tale is using characters from Jude Watson's three children's series (well "independent reader"): Jedi Apprentice (17+ books about Obi-wan's padawan days), Jedi Quest (10+ books about Anakin's padawan days), & Last of the Jedi (10 books about Ferus, Obi-wan, & other bit characters from the other two series in the days right after Revenge of the Sith).

A good place to actually bone up on Star Wars mythos without -- y'know -- actually hunting down 30+ children's books XD is SW Wiki. It'll give you EU character backgrounds (re: Ferus Olin, Siri Tachi, etc

Ooh, awesome, thank you. I'll check out the Wiki, and see if I can find the books you mentioned. Cos then, maybe just maybe, I can join in on the fun. (the idea of using the force to choke a bitch--jedi mind trick, jedi mind trick!--sounds like an awesome fandom to be in. a character you dislike needs to die? do the jedi! *dances*)

Layers here and full of characterization, nice. I liked Ahsoka's looking at Anakin as if he were all-knowing and even more that Anakin knew it.

And your clinch line is a killer --- ohhh, to leave Anakin like that, all dumbfounded as he must have been. Very satisfying fic.

And yes -- poor Anakin! He would've been like (once he could remember how to speak) "Wait -- whut? I'm nothing like that stuffed shirt!" XDDDDDDD

I only know little bits of what went on but I could figure it out.

I like the way Anakin is trying to be a good Master, but struggling to find his way. And the last line ... *giggles* at poor dumbfounded Anakin.

I loved this wonderful, introspective piece. Siri was indeed a great loss, as was Ferus. You do a great job of showing the little ways in which people leave an impression, an influence, even when they're no longer there.

I'm so happy you enjoyed it! ♥ Because I think there's so much of the aftermath of Siri's death that remains unexplored, and because Ahsoka would've had to have known these people. Even from a distance.

I loved that Anakin really had no clue about what was going on. Her using makeup to remember Siri was a lovely touch.

That last line was a killer because Anakin really disliked Ferus a lot.
