I'm feeling better today than I was yesterday. I had a rough morning and just didn't feel great for a while. I had a good afternoon at work, despite the pelvic pain that's starting to become an every day occurrence

Um, I don't know. I have a registry if you wanted to see it at Babies R Us.
But as far as things that they don't have there, or don't have a keen selection of, I'm always interested in cloth diapers and covers. ;-) Clothes and stuff like that are nice, too. It's hard to come up with stuff I need/want for him. It was hard to make a registry, mine is so small. My friends have teased me that there isn't much on it. Heehee. Mom, too. I guess I need to go add to it or something.
hey. i am in human anatomy right now and was recently learning about the joints including the pubis symphisis. i learned that for the last month or two of pregnancy, you feel really loose and flexible because of hormonal changes including relaxin release. i hope you have fun being all loosey goosey!
I feel like a ragdoll or a marionette or one of those old toys that was jointed with metal pins!
I'm so flexible anyway, it's such a strange feeling to be this wobbly. I can't get up from a squatting position without help. And if it's when I'm hurting a lot, without bigtime pain.
It is definitely a weird feeling, that's for sure. Everything is so loose, I roll my ankles a lot, too. I can just be standing still and wobble at the ankle.
I remember the pelvic pain with Pepper. She used to grind her head into my pelvic bone so hard that I could barely get out of a chair, let alone walk to the bathroom. After having to examined, I found out she was in perfect position for delivery but after the exam, Pepper moved inward a bit and gave me some release for a while. :)
The nurse told me today that Luke might be pressing on a nerve or something. Doc said it's just because he's growing and getting down on that pubic bone.
I still say it sucks.
Doc says it's all part of pregnancy and blah blah blah. I'm so loose-jointed as it is, the relaxin has just made me even more so, and my pubic symphysis is one place I really feel it. I also think I look like a little floppy ragdoll when I walk. I know I feel like one.
Luke will be here soon, though. And in theory, I'll feel lots better then.
