Good story - whether it's a wind-up or not, it's something he'd say :-)

One small thing though - "punking" isn't a word that's used to mean "kidding" in the UK (in fact I don't think we use it as a verb at all) and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be in Donna's vocabulary. She'd be more likely to think "He's winding me up" or "He's pulling my leg"

I've never heard it used here, although it's always possible that I mix with the wrong people :-) I wonder if younger people do use it? (I'm 46, and thus decrepit :-)). But even if they do, I still doubt that Donna would - she's younger than me, but old enough to not use whatever slang the current crop of teenagers have dreamt up, I reckon :-)
