Saturday nights I curl up on the couch with mom and watch hockey for five hours and knit. Sundays we curl up on the couch and watch a rotation of Bitchin' Kitchen, Barefoot Contessa and any other cooking shows we picked up on the PVR during the week, and I knit.

Honestly, it's kind of awesome. <3

... that sounds SO GREAT. I am about to have a week where I don't have company one night this week. And I'm going to be home for less than 12 hours on the weekend.

I love my friends, but I just want to scream "CAN EVERYBODY JUST GO AWAY UNTIL I'VE HAD ABOUT A WEEK'S SLEEP"

Oh man, those weeks where you can see the fun but also the oncoming crash. :(

I love my friends and I'm actually pretty social, but when I'm teaching and working with the public I definitely need that down time.

Watching hockey games with my mom is hilarious, because she shouts and whimpers and just... seriously, when the Jets went to the seveth round of the shootout on Saturday she was peeking through her hands and clapping them whenever Pavelec made a save. Even though we lost, I'm glad it didn't go any longer since I'm not sure she would have made it.
