Columbines, a Provence Cloche knit in Mirasol Cotanani in navy, on size 5 and 6 needles.
From the first time I saw this hat in the magazine, I wanted to knit it. It's got a cabled band that goes around the crown of the head, and y ou pick up stitches along the side fore the brim and top of the hat. I chose the Cotanani yarn, because I liked the colour and thought the wool blended with the cotton would be a) warmer, and b) have better counce and definition for the cables.
This knit up really fast for me. I'm still looking for a brooch or button for the band.
