Country Regency Progress

Soooo, I talked about this dress awhile back here, in the plotting stages.
It’s basically done now, and I’ve been a TOTAL space cadet lately, combined with the crunch of getting it done in time means I didn’t take that many pictures. But here’s what I did take! And how I made it.

Yes! That is a much better way to explain it 8D;; It's just one or two needle positions over from the edge when you're making the piping.

I also sew it to one side first, to get it really nice and snug, and then when I sew the other side on I just flip it over and follow the stitching line that's already there. Something else I probably should have mentioned... 8D;;

So the way I do it has way more steps then doing it all at once, but I feel like I can get a cleaner finish that way.
