I don't have any direct experience but, given that a rinkydink little Star Trek fan club to which I belonged, back in the neolithic era, was able to incorporate as a 501c/3 without too much aggravation, I'm sure you could handle it, since you've taken lots of business classes and such.

I think it's a great idea and you're right, it would look fab on your rez.

I looked into it a little and what I've taken away from it so far is, it's a lot of paperwork. Which is fine, I like paperwork. But it'll be... a process I think.

I'm not clear on, yet, whether I need to set up like... a board of directors.

Guess I'll research more!

I'm sure your local library has some very helpful book by Nolo Press on the subject. Such as this one.
