It's fun! But photos is one of the things I really missed, all these geeky locations and really it's not as fun to be all "Look look that's where the TARDIS was!" when you're by yourself. And there's no one to take the SUPER dorky pics of you ;_;
For general culture and siteseeing being alone is not bad, but yeah there were several times I wished someone was with me, if just to geek or take pics.
Not helped that I don't care for Ianto. I think his character could have been amazing, but the actor didn't have the skill to bring him to that level so he just felt flat all the time.
