Who: Remilia and Eclair When: Day 6 Where: Canteen What: The vampire needs blood, and Eclair was kind enough to offer. Rating: Nothing horrible. I'm bad with the rating system. Warnings: There be a vampire, so blood.
Éclair wasn't sure what had really brought her to this point. Everything about her situation felt a little surreal, a little unbelievable. Her high heels echoed in the hallway as she headed towards the Canteen.
She glanced down at her red dress and winced. Despite the color, she did hope that Remilia wouldn't be a messy eater.
She immediately caught sight of the girl when she entered the room. Éclair couldn't help but be a little taken aback; she hadn't expected the vampire to be so little. Despite herself, her affinity for children took over.
"Hi!" She smiled at Remilia a little awkwardly. "Um, I guess you'll need me to sit down, right?" At 5'5", she towered over the seated girl.
Remilia glanced up, politely offering a smile, even if she didn't feel it. Damned hunger.
"Eclair, yes? A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Remilia stood, offering the smallest bob of a curtsy. The vampire floated upwards, stopping at eye-level with the girl and offering the seat. She wasn't making a silent point. Really.
"I would recommend sitting. You'll see why," Remilia answered, a hint of amusement in her voice. Ah, Eclair was wearing red. Wonderful; Remilia had always been somewhat of a messy eater. "You have my gratitude. I will admit, I'm somewhat surprised. I wasn't expecting someone to volunteer to be eaten alive so soon."
Okay, maybe she was toying with the girl a bit. Remilia couldn't help it. Couldn't forget the gratitude, though; one must remember to be proper, even in this ships atrocious conditions.
"It's...nice to meet you too," Éclair offered. "That's a very cute hat!"
She was definitely surprised when Remilia rose through the air. Éclair smiled tentatively and took the seat. Despite her words, it was a little hard to feel threatened by such a little girl. Remilia looked almost sweet.
But those next words were anything but. Eaten alive? Remilia didn't look like a traditional vampire, but she definitely talked like one. Éclair snuck a glance at those wings, impressed and a little envious. What was it like to have that kind of power?
"W-well, you're hungry, right? Someone had to volunteer." She twisted her hands together in her lap, fidgeting. "Um, you said it's been--five days since you ate? That sounds like a really long time, so--so it's okay if you take a little more than usual, this first time." Éclair herself was a big eater. She couldn't imagine how miserable five days without food would be.

At the compliment to her hat, a hint of a genuine smile slipped onto Remilia's features. She was terribly fond of her hat.
"You have my thanks." For both the compliment and the blood, but that went unspoken. "It's easier for my body to function without food than it is for yours. Mine doesn't have to sustain biological processes, after all," the vampire comments with a chuckle. The benefit of not being dead, but not being alive, either. The girl was fidgeting; the vampire couldn't help the small surge of amusement. It wasn't flat-out fear, but nervousness game a similar, pleasing feeling.
"If you would turn around? It's easier with your back to me." A brief pause. Then, Remilia spoke again, pure curiosity in her voice. "Do you happen to know your blood type? I wouldn't dare be picky in a situation such as this, of course," with a vague, broad gesture to the ship.
