The voice that replied was hoarse with exhaustion, low with exasperation.

"It's open, you ass."

He's somewhat surprised she's in there, now that he thinks about it, as he distinctly recalls her trying to find her roommate over the network (a little red-haired girl) and promising to stay out of the room...like she considers herself frightening, somehow.

After a moment's worth of hesitation, the door slides open; Warren slides into the room.

Her appearance was...changed, somehow, albeit marginally. Her unwashed blonde hair no longer clung to her head in the tightly coiled curls of the 1930s; she had released the hair pins and let the dirty tresses down to hang limply around her face and shoulders. Her skin, already abnormally pale, was chalky white. Her amber eyes seemed even brighter in the dimness of the room.

She was sitting on the floor with her back against one of the lockers, Warren's jacket wrapped around her body, Kurt's rosary beads on her lap. She looked up at Warren and gave him a curt, indifferent nod.

Warren falters in the doorway for two reasons: the first being that he almost doesn't recognize her when he finally sets eyes on her, the second that he does recognize his father's old leather jacket and Kurt's favorite Rosary, both of which they assumed went missing.

"You're the one who took our stuff?"

"I was cold," she explained. "...It looked warm."

His jacket in particular. It was durable and thick, but worn with years of use, even burned around the sleeves like someone had tried to set fire to it once.
