Thank you again, that really means so much to hear. For all my bluster, I'm quite fond of this. Secretly, I think it's the fic of my heart (or the fic my heart wrote while my head complained). ♥♥♥
I've been trying to compose feedback for this story for days, but I can't come up with anything better than you broke my heart and then fixed it again between parts one and two. I'm not at all surprised that you could write such a beautiful and evocative story where half of the characters are puppets. ♥
Godness, thank you. That's so lovely to hear, M. (Though I have to admit, I'm still not quite sure how I wrote 10,000 words of Brendon saving the Muppet Theatre and the Muppets saving Brendon). ♥♥♥
I think my heart grew three sizes, reading this. No, seriously, I felt it swell. I loved how you write this story so... tranquilly? calmly? soothingly? Whatever the word, I went in expecting the over-the-top exuberance of the Muppets' usual shenanigans, but your story wasn't like that. It was true-to-life in the ways that the Muppets aren't, but you still managed to get in the soul-healing-friendship-mending-be-yourself-ness that resides at the heart of every Muppet Theaters Production. And, just... Kermit the Frog helps Brendon and Spencer heal post-split!Panic, and they come to love New York City as their home, and it was all kinds of wonderful. I'm not exactly coherent right now, but this story was amazing and achey and lovely and lovelorn and gritty and lost and then found all over again. Thank you for sharing this with me.
Thank you. I'm so happy you enjoyed this. (Originally I started with Ryan in the lead, but Brendon just made so much more sense. He's pretty much a human muppet.)
Ryan and the muppets would be amazing too. I honestly agree that Brendon is better suited for this fic, but hey, if you wanted to write a companion piece with Ryan, I wouldn't be complaining. ;)

I wasn't sure what to expect going in, something crazy maybe with that excess of muppet chaos, but it's not at all.
I loved how thoughtful this is, and how Brendon found his own path in such an unexpected place.
It's a really fantastic story, and I enjoyed it a lot.
