*Seriously, is the theme of these opening episodes "every ranger gets a turn to be emo"?

*HEY BEING SCARED OF CATS IS VALID. THEY ARE TREACHEROUS AND EVIL.
*These insults are actually not crap.
*Um. I totally heard "bike" as "bi" until he continued the sentence.

*AHAHAHA JAYDEN TOTALLY DIDN'T TELL KEVIN HE WASN'T BORING
*"Ignore the bullies and it doesn't hurt" is possibly the WORST lesson Power Rangers has tried to teach.
*"Never give up?" Running after the monster because he kicked their asses? Aw, Bulk and Spike.
*SO MUCH Mike/Emily
*Aw, Emily has issues because she's a replacement. <3
*A replacement for a sister with some major Kiwi accent, hee.
*Seriously, this monster is super-fun. Except the part where I kept hearing his name as Megatron and having Beast Wars flashbacks. (Sorry, I'm a smidge young for car-transformers.)
*Puns! (But not from Kevin, because he's boring.)
*Hey, Emily told us the kanji she was using! How considerate.
*Bulk and Spike are actually (almost) interacting with the rangers!
*SO MUCH MIKE/EMILY
*Chasing an ice cream truck seems age-inappropriate until you realize that there's no age at which it's inappropriate to chase ice cream trucks.
This was probably the strongest episode so far - really fun MotW, strong character focus, Bulk and Spike not being completely randomly there... yeah.
