Of course you can have your own helicopter if you can afford the landing pads and licenses.

The actual helicopter itself would also be quite pricey.

They need to hurry up and build the space elevator.
Just build a really really tall tower that makes it all the way into space, and put an elevator in it.
Problem solved.

Can't take credit, sadly.

It actually really is a seriously considered, plausible, scientific possibility.

Although, it does sound kind of silly.
