Hahaah yeah I watched Flags of Our Fathers last night. An alright movie but too little Bell. I was told exactly the same about Deathwatch but I ended up *loving* it, like...it's my guilty 'so crap it's good' movie and while it's not a *great* movie by any means it just *tries* so hard and I have to admit that the cast is superb and it does distract you from the crappy cgi. ALSO A WIDE RANGE OF ACCENTS. SOMETHING TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR STUDIES YES? and omg Jamie. It's pretty much Billy Elliot goes to war. He's so precious!!

so well, it depends whether you want to risk it for a biscuit or not. and hey it's only 90 minutes long.

yeah I have to agree, and that most of them deal with the American perspective. I liked Band of Brothers but somehow didn't really engage with Generation Kill to be honest. Haven't seen Letters from Iwo Jima but I feel I probably should. I don't know I feel I like stuff that deals with European military conflicts a little bit more? Probably because it rings closer to home? I dunno. YES. AND MAN I WAS SAD ENOUGH TO GET THE DVD AND CAST COMMENTARIES AND INTERVIEWS ARE HILARIOUS. they made poor Jamie their bitch and burnt his hands. LOL and SOB

I hope so too! :D And guess what, I'm seriously considering going to Scotland for a month or two in July. Don't know what will come out of it, but it's like it's the place to be for me whenever there's a big change in my life. Which is kind of crazy, I know (why Scotland of all places?!?), but if it helps ... ;)
