Oooooooo great first chapter, openings are always hard, but the imagery is great. I can really picture what this island looks like (it also reminds me of Gotham City in The Dark Knight Rises). I like Donghae's characterization as well, naive and smart at the same time. Often people write him as totally clueless and happy, but this Donghae is so much more interesting and real.

Lovely chapter, I can't wait to read more :)

Thank you!! And yeah, totally. Especially in AUs, because you want people to get it but at the same time you don't want to just throw all the information at people's faces? (LOL)

And yeah, DongHae is definitely waaaay more childish than the average man but there's so much more to him people sometimes fail to see... idk.
