My first Kat-tun's [...]

The month of May makes me somewhat nostalgic.

It was the first month of the recharging period 2 years ago but it's also the month I  (somehow) ran into KAT-TUN for the first time.

So I tried to recollect my first KAT-TUN's something. Some were easier to remember, other really not.

Here's my list: what's yours? Let's go down to memory lane!

Yamato nadeshiko shichi henge would've also been my first drama had the links not gotten mixed up and rerouted me to Tatta Hitotsu no Koi... and absolutely got no complaints because I that's what really got me into Kame... more so than Yamato so I guess it's fate that I watched the one with the bigger impact first XD

I was looking at that pic of queue and thinking, 'that line looks familiar... it looks like Nagoya' then bam! you mentioned it lol OMG!!!!! So many years have gone by so fast! It feels long but at the same time, also short. I remember meeting you at the golden clock at Nagoya station XD Thinking about it now, I think you were the second HYPHEN I've met in person XD

I really got settled into KT at about "Change Ur World" but my first KT CD was probably "White"... I really wanted "Silence" lol... and after that first buy my wallet has been crying ever since >< lol ( ... )

Our great queue experience under the rain!
Do you remember the japanese girls I lend my umbrella too?
I thought they have left with it and they went to buy something as a thank you present instead. That was so sweet.

And the streamers that got in my bag? I didn't even notice at first. But now we have a pair each. *____*

Ah uchiwa... I don't actually use them at the concert but Kame was so awesome in that one (argh, that haircut) and then it became a thing that I buy as a memento.

So many good memories this band gave us. ^_^
I was your second too? Nice! Sistah!

They did?
I'm not even surprised. These people can be super nice at times XD
On one hand I feel like it was yesterday but on the other hand, I feel like it was an eternity ago... I think that part comes in where memory fails lol ><"
We really did get decent seats... thinking about it, I always seem to get decent seats at the Nagoya Dome ^^

I saw the post on twitter. XD
This is really interesting! i think...this is my first time someone said they found out KT because of manga. Usually...they found out about KT because of kame's drama.
and your 'First Time' makes me nostalgic....lmao.

this is really great post.

I wasn't into J-drama at all at the time. Yamanade was the first drama I watched, ever!
I love reading and I love(d) manga. I bought and downloaded hundreds of volumes. I was never really into anime as an adult with few exceptions. And I didn't have broadband at the time.
Most people here get to know j-artists from anime theme songs and then they expand their knowledge.

It's nice finding out how people from all over the world discover KAT-TUN (or any other bands).

Thanks for your comment

I was feeling quite nostalgic yesterday and your post just had perfect timing!

I loved reading your KT firsts. And I was so curious to know what my first CD was, because I couldn't remember, I went through my emails from 2014 lol. And I know why I couldn't remember, I bought a bunch of them second hand from a girl in LJ. But if we go with newly bought, from a store it was "In Fact" ^^ (which I got one week after I got that bunch of CDs)

It's funny how crystal clear the other firsts are. Like the first Hyphen I met it was actually two Hyphens - you and kissmegreen *^^* Everytime I think back on that day, I smile and wish we had had more time to hang out together. Because I was having so much fun and enjoying it so much! Time just flew by

This was really really fun to read and also a good exercise of memory, because as I read yours, I kept thinking "Wow my first concert..."

I guess May will continue to bring nostalgia

So long as it's good nostalgia!

Well, I know which one was your first concert. Same tour, different date!
I should add my first Johnny's shop purchase. That requires browsing through my shop pic photo album though. LOL
I know it didn't happen during my first trip to Japan in 2013 because I wasn't able to find Johnny's Shop that time ^^'
I think it was in December 2014, during my third trip when I went there with senpais (and bought the huge KAT-TUN umbrella LOL)

It's really good nostalgia :D I was just thinking back that apart from Linkin Park (that I've been following consistently for 15 years), KAT-TUN has got to be the second band that I've been following the longest (and I mean by continuing consistently being up-to-date with the band's activities). And how time flies by (I still feel a Junior fan compared ^^)

"Well, I know which one was your first concert. Same tour, different date!"

:D It would have been great if it had been the same^^

" I wasn't able to find Johnny's Shop that time ^^'"

Lol, when I went to the con in 2014, I didn't even know there was a Johnny's shop, or Papapics or Mandarake and the sort ^^' I was such a tiny innocent junior lolol.

You should add your first Johnny's shop purchase! It should be in this list :))) My first Jshop purchase was only last year lololol (not sure how I managed to resist this long)
