i've decided to cancel the midnight mass this year. it makes me sad but i think it's the right decision. i don't think i'm spiritually ready, nor is my apartment. oh well, hopefully next year

This is really sad. It's terrible that someone is going around stealing even Christmas presents no knowing what they are. I feel sorry for all involved, even the thief (I can't help but wonder what would drive someone to that point).

I am a little worried about your door no closing all the way. Is there any way that can be fixed by the landlord? Do you feel safe in your appt complex?
