First Fic Foray? Really?

I find that very hard to believe. Both of these are polished and poignant and absolutely wonderful. I'd pull quotes from each of them to wax rhapsodic, but I think I'd end up quoting both stories in their entirety! So let me just leave it at this: You are a fabulous writer, and I'm very much looking forward to your next effort!

You'll have to forgive me, but when I saw your username pop up in my inbox, this was about the only thought in my head: OMG, OMG, OMG!!! (And I'm not a fan of IM-speak)

I've become addicted to your fic in the past month, particularly "A Sort of Homecoming." I have a bad habit of lurking and not reviewing, one which I am trying to cure, so I'll be reviewing and showing my appreciation soon, now that I've been properly embarrassed.

The point I'm trying to get to by the scenic route is, to get a compliment from a writer of your stature is a compliment in itself. Thank you.

Wow! "Taste" packed a PUNCH. It's hard to articulate it, from where I'm sitting, but it was just so resonant. A real look into an alien mind, which is the best sort of complement if the mind in question is not human. Wow. That is not so coherent. Think I'll give up now. :)
