Lovely, lovely story! Came here on petzipellepingo's rec, 'cause she always has the best stuff, and I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really love F-I-B scenes, and adored Spike rescuing the baby - glad to 'know' what happened after the rescue. Loved Spike's description of Angel. You know Angel? Tall, dark, good dresser, hair like a gay hedgehog?” Bwahaha! Loved Spike's sending the family to Buffy to protect, and his message to Andrew, and loved the name he gave the baby. Great Spike voice. So glad I had a chance to read this.

I loved the idea of Big Bad Spike holding a baby so gently while kicking ass - reminded me of an early Xena: Warrior Princess episode. Hope to turn it into a longer fic at some point.

Loved this little coda to NFA. I guess I was so upset about the finale and the cancellation I never wondered about what happened to the baby. Your Spike is my Spike - so cool on the outside and just a sentimental softie on the inside.
