I used to watch Rescue Me, but then one day, I just completely lost interest, abandoned it and never looked back.

Weird how you can like something one day and then suddenly it just feels like a waste of time, huh? Sometimes I regret not watching Rescue Me, because I like the opening credits so much, but then I remind myself at how unsympathetic Dennis Leary is and I'm okay again. :p

I just felt like the show had no direction. I mean ...one of the main characters died EVERY SEASON. It's like, really? His son died. His father died. His brother died. It was took much of a gimmick.

And, as you said, Tommy is incredibly unsympathetic and I hate that he still has poorly written women who go crazy for him. The weak female characters is also something that really bothered me.

The credits of United States of Tara are really cute. And the pop-up book style is a nice visualisation of Tara's personality disorder.

Hmm, the opening theme song of Six Feet Under isn't really a song I'd listen to, but I think with its quirky style it fits the show very nicely and got me into the right mood when I started watching the episodes.

Hadn't seen the Carnivale intro before. Interesting.

I also like how the theme song of United States Of Tara is both sad and hopeful. Once again, it fits the visuals and the actual topic of the show.
