♞ CENTRA
As the majority of the continent of Centra is one huge, dry desert, it has the fewest people per square kilometre in the world. The majority of the setting is near-impossible to travel across, and only appears to have a single season; a long, sunny, sweltering summer that only breaks for rain or snow for a couple of weeks per year. The only plants that grow in the Ulara Desert are cacti and others that need very little-to-no water, and the animals that take refuge beneath the desert's surface appear to not drink at all. The fruits that grow are dry, chewy, and often have thick, spiky skins. The main cities, Aglis and Mayfil, alongside many of the towns are built very close to the coastline in an attempt to escape the relentless heat; a strategy that, for the most part, works.

Aglis is the only city in the world that is wrapped in a bubble; this bubble allows people to live easily where it would otherwise be very difficult, cooling down the streets by only allowing a certain amount of sun through, like a miniature layer of ozone. However, this has its disadvantages, too; it is more difficult to get into and out of Aglis than any other town or city in Centra as a hole in the bubble needs to be made by specialist equipment before anybody can move in or out of it. This means that Aglis gets very few tourists, and those that are born there are unlikely to ever see the sky unobscured by the layer.
Mayfil, unlike Aglis, has nothing to protect the city streets against the strength of the sun, but most of those that live in Mayfil have families that have been there for many generations, and the further down the line you go, the more and more used to the near-unbearable heat they are. It is the capital city of Centra and also acts as its main port, importing much, much more than it exports. Some half-destroyed ruins that initially appear to be ancient stand towards the south, but the metals that they're composed of are alloys and mixes that hadn't been invented in times long ago.
