I traded four games in I'd never play again for this. I was already anticipating it, but when the demo released on Xbox Live I knew this would be my favorite game of the year.

The soundtrack has over 100 tracks, including songs from Iced Earth's Night of the Stormrider album. However, aside from Dragonforce and Manowar there isn't much else power metal on there (and at this point I don't even count Dragonforce as power metal. I've grown so sick of them that I hate their fans more than the band itself).

I'd like to know why Dio stopped being involved with the project. Some think it had to do with Ozzy becoming a voice actor, but I hear that neither Dio nor Ozzy have any drama to have caused such a separation. What REALLY gets me is the lack of Iron Maiden, a band that Tim Schaffer admitted to being a fan of.

It's possible that Maiden did not want to license out (or asked for too much money) any of their catalogue. Reasoning MIGHT be that they're still holding on to the option of making another Maiden video game in the future. I doubt it, but it's a thought.

Skeletonwitch is on the soundtrack and that's enough for me.
