New Met Album, Upcoming Birthdays.

Well I finally went and downloaded the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic, from HMV last week.  I'd seen varying opinions on it.  Having listened to it, I can safely say I like it.  It is back to the old Metallica with good, well structured yet decently flowing songs.  None of that disjointed St. Anger crap.  Well worth listening to.  Hetfield's

I've had the same thing with my sister who turned 14 last month. I can remember so clearly getting the phone call when she was born and utterly usurping my friend's party with the news! I can't believe she's so grown up already (and so so so much more sensible than I ever was!) and just hope that she doesn't become a Kevin-the-Teenager in the years to come!

Well I know she likes her jewellery, so I've got her a very nice white gold necklace and earring set. Much better than the usual cheap tat she has me buying her in Claires (a cheap tat shop) every time I head up to see her.
